• Inaguration of Volleyball and Badminton Courts in Institute Campus
Date: 30/3/19
Three sports ground were developed in Institute by the initiative, motivation and guidance of Principal, Prof. B. M. Vadher sir and the continuous efforts of Sports committee and students. One soft clay court of Volleyball, one soft clay court of Badminton and one hard surface court of Badminton were developed within the college campus to promote sports activities among the students. The courts are equipped with night lighting for sports activities by students staying in the campus Hostels.
• Cricket
Date: 11/3/19-16/3/19
An Inter-branch Inter-Semester cricket tournament was organized by the Institute for the students. The team of Civil 8th sem became winner by defeating Envt 8th Sem team in the Finals. 21 teams from different semester and branch of engineering participated in the tournament conducted at Jal Kranti Maidan of SMC for 6 days from 11/3/19 to 16/3/19. The trophies and certificates were awarded to winners and runners up team by honourable Principal Sir.
• Volleyball
Date: 1/4/19-8/4/19
An Inter-branch Inter-Semester Volleyball tournament was organized by the Institute for the students. The team of Electrical 6th sem became winner by defeating Civil 6th Sem team in the Finals. 13 teams from different semester and branch of engineering participated in the tournament conducted at Institute Ground from 1/4/19 to 8/4/19. The trophies and certificates were awarded to winners and runners up team by honourable Principal Sir.
• Chess
Date: 29/6/19
The open chess tournament was organized for Boys and Girls separately. Around 50 students participated in the event. Gamit Priyanka of B. E. Civil Engg., 7th sem was winner in Girls’ category and Dhimmar Nisargkumar Chetanbhai of B. E. Civil Engg., 5th sem was winner in Boys’ category.
